| Inside St Columba Evangelical Lutheran Church |

This is a view of the inside of our church, the chancel, communion table, lectern, pulpit and baptism font.
The building was completed in 1969 and seats about 100.
We also have a hall and kitchen, front and back gardens, and a large car park next to the church.

We are the only congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scotland. The ELCE is a daughter church and now associate
of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, and is a member church of the International Lutheran Council.
Our church is situated at 151 Westwood Hill, Westwood, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, G75 8QA, which is about 10 miles
south-east of Glasgow.
We meet for Divine Service, using the new LSB, at 11 a.m. every Sunday.
We have a Bible Study and Confirmation Class and Topical Discussion and Prayer Meeting on the first Wednesday evening
of the month, starting at 7.30 p.m.
The Lutheran Ladies' Guild meets on the last Monday evening of the month, starting at 7.30 p.m.
Visitors are always made very welcome.

David's wife Anne. We were married in October 1996, spending our honeymoon in Jerusalam while staying at Bethlehem Bible College.
Please support Christians in Bethlehem. Stay with them and encourage them. See their website: www.bethbc.edu
Anne is a bed and breakfast hostess.
Please stay with us at our bungalow in Irvine in west central Scotland about 3 miles from the beaches overlooking Arran
and Bute, many golf courses, and ferries to the islands.
Our price is a very reasonable £20 per person per night which includes full Scottish breakfast and pick up from Prestwick
Airport (Ryanair) or Irvine Railway Station. We have 1 x double-bed room and 1 x single-bed room, and you have your own private
full bath/shower/toilet room and conservatory/sitting room.
Our Mission
We preach Christ crucified for sinners.
We preach judgement for all under the Law.
We preach justification by grace through faith.
We preach salvation for all who believe and repent.
We preach forgiveness for the worst of sinners through the merits of Christ Jesus.
We preach the real presence of Christ in the bread and wine consecrated and received in the Lord's Supper.
We believe God desires all to be saved, but that some, sadly, will stay in their sin, and be lost.

Weddings are always happy occasions.
David recently had the privilege of marrying Lesley Cowie to Malcolm Lord in Fairmilehead Church, Edinburgh, her sister
Lynne to Ross Hunter in the grounds of Barony Castle, Peebles, and David's own daughter Gillian to Stuart Campbell in St Columba
Lutheran Church, East Kilbride.
